Wagabode is a UK-focused discovery platform that helps dog owners find accommodation genuinely suited to their dog — by searching on practical, verifiable requirements rather than a vague label.
Our purpose
Most travel platforms list properties as "pet friendly" and leave it there. But a nervous greyhound needs something very different from a confident spaniel. Wagabode lets you search on the things that actually matter to your dog — enclosed gardens, ground-floor access, quiet locations, beach proximity, walks from the door — and shows you the verification status of every claim.
Our research-led approach
We collect property data from accommodation providers and clearly label the source of each piece of information: provider-stated, checked by Wagabode, or not confirmed. "Checked by Wagabode" means we have checked the stated information against an identified source and recorded a last-checked date — it does not mean we have physically inspected the property. We never assume that "enclosed garden" means secure or escape-proof, and we never present unknown data as confirmed.
What we don't claim
We do not personally visit or test every property. "Checked by Wagabode" refers to checking information against an identified source, not physical inspection. We do not take bookings, process payments, or guarantee live pricing. Current price and availability always come directly from the accommodation provider.
How matching works
We separate hard requirements from preferences. A hard requirement eliminates properties confirmed not to meet it — and unknown data never satisfies a requirement. Preferences influence ranking without hiding options you might still consider. Every result explains why it matched.
